Realistic transfer targets at other Premiership clubs you'd like us to go for
Was really disappointed when Swansea were allowed to take Gylffi Sigurdsen from Spurs with no competition from us.
8 goals and 10 assists this season and a bit of a West Ham way type player for me.
With Song going back to Barca I'd be looking at trying to attract him.
I would also offer Mark Noble in part exchange

Vargas from QPR might be a decent signing, could work better in a better team.

Some are still getting tricked into wanting players that USE to be good, like Podolski and Glen Johnsom. We want players on the up, not on the way down.

Pop Robson would be worth £30m in these times, absolute legend and a great goal scorer.

John Radford though was total shit, made Dowie and Chapman look like Ronaldo.

John Radford played in my first trip to UP... but it was 'Pop' Robson who caught the eye!

That's QPR's problem.... Zarate did a decent job with the limited opportunity he was given here.

No doubt that he would be playing now instead of CFC if he was still here.

Podolski = John Radford

One for the old timers there.

Zarate has been immense at QPR, I can't believe we let him go.

I do largely agree with you, but also credit where credit is due, and some of his summer tranfers were decent business.

I'd like to know how many of those were BFFS's and how many were Sullivan's.... also, I can't stand the way that Allardyce won't give Sullivan's signings a chance (I firmly believe that he would never have played Sakho if injuries hadn't forced his hand). The man is a churlish wanker.

I also have no doubt that Zarate would have been a decent option up front for us in the second half of the season.

Poyet ditto.

David Sullivan must be a very patient man because the way BFFS has treated his signings is shocking and disrespectful and he would have been history when he elbowed Zarate out (without bringing in a replacement) if I was Sullivan.

Re: Realistic transfer targets at other Premiership clubs you'd like us to go for
Haven't read down the thread but Sullivan seems to have a decent enough scouting network and that will only improve with the addition of the guy from Everton (Henry?) who I assume is working directly with Sullivan rather than wasting his time with the oaf... as long as BFFS is kept well out of it then I have every confidence that we can add a few gems over the summer.

As long as we get rid of the Big Fat Fucker all will be well!!!!
